In the last week of February 2020, I went around to the two local hospitals in Lafayette to get file photos of each knowing I was about to be gone for a week on vacation. After weeks of following the stories out of Wuhan, China and then New York and Seattle, I felt like I should have something ready in case the reporters needed some images. While attending Northern Short Course in Fairfax, Va., cases began to be reported in Indiana. By the time I got back into town, this were changing rapidly.
